Arrowhead Pier, Superior Wisconsin – Public Process, Master Planning, Design Development, Construction Documents
SAS+Associates was part of a design team to update and revitalize the Arrowhead Fishing Pier Facility located on the St. Louis River in Superior, Wisconsin. This public process project, in which SAS was involved as the landscape architect, included a DNR boat launch, pier, shelter, restroom, and parking.
SAS conducted site analysis and user input and generated multiple plan options which were refined into the preferred master plan. The project was implemented in 2010 and is a popular location for day use fishing and lake and river access.
